MANCHESTER, Ky. (July 9, 2026) – On July 9, 2026 at around 1 p.m. EST the Kentucky State Police (KSP) Post 11 London was notified of a UTV versus pedestrian collision on Robinson Creek Road in Manchester, KY by Clay County 911. Preliminary investigation indicates that a Polaris UTV operated by Skyler L. Robinson, 34 of Manchester, KY, was traveling east on Robinson Creek Road, checking on farm land in the area. While Mr. Robinson was traveling on Robinson Creek Road, a pedestrian later identified as Robert L. Fisher Jr., 56 years old of Manchester, KY, stepped from the shoulder of the roadway into the path of travel of Mr. Robinson who was unable to evade him. As a result of the collision, Mr. Fisher was transported to Advent Health Manchester via Clay County EMS where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased by the Clay County Coroner’s Office. This case remains under investigation by Detective Shane Bowling. Drugs and alcohol are not believed to be a factor in this collision, but toxicology is pending at this time.
